Henry

Genevieve Henry, known to most as Hadie, has a passion for new experiences that has taken her around the world- indulging her fascination with diverse people, architecture, and food. In her free time, she loves exploring thrift stores, gardening, and adventuring—whether riding motorcycles, hiking, camping, or just floating on the scenic waterways of the Ozarks. When not adventuring or working, one of her favorite activities is hosting dinner parties with friends, believing that good food and good company are paramount to a happy life.

Her preservation journey began in living rooms of her family houses and was solidified one summer in the remains of a forgotten Italian farmhouse. Realizing how much the spaces people inhabit shape their lives, and how the history of those spaces shapes their future, inspired her to study architecture and adaptive reuse. She graduated with a degree in Interior Architecture from RISD in 2014 and currently runs a small design practice in Springfield, MO, called Frisco + Fin, named after her beloved pooches Frisco and Finley.
