Born and raised in Springfield and a graduate of Hillcrest High School, I am a proud resident of the historic Rountree neighborhood, where I live in a 1920’s brick bungalow with my two beloved Collies, Doogle and Misha. My roots in this community run deep, and my commitment to preserving its architectural legacy is a personal one.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Missouri State University and currently apply my analytical skills as a Contract Analyst at CoxHealth. While my days are often filled with spreadsheets and emails, my true passion lies in the hands-on work of restoring my own home. From making simple repairs to restoring the original wavy-glass windows, each project is a labor of love and a tribute to the craftsmanship of a bygone era.
Beyond taking care of my home, I have a keen interest in agriculture, particularly viticulture—the art and science of grape growing for winemaking. As a Certified Sommelier accredited by the Court of Master Sommeliers, I brought a detailed understanding of wine that once informed my role as a wine and cheese buyer for a local health food store chain.
At the Rountree Council for Preservation, I merge my financial acumen with my dedication to historic preservation. Together, we work to protect and revitalize homes that stand as testaments to our city’s rich history, ensuring they remain for future generations to cherish.
